Suitable for drilling in wood and some plastics. The center point holds and centers the drill bit, while the outer serrations or spines score the wood ahead of the main cutting edge. This creates smooth holes in most woods. It is the perfect spot for cross pattern drilling and dowels. When the vias are drilled, it will cause some minor cracking on the backside unless a backplate is used.

Drilling machines and boring machines both have forward and reverse rotation options. Some machines with multiple spindles will have both forward and counter-rotating spindles. If all the spindles on the machine are spinning in the same direction, you can be 99% sure that the spindles are all turning right. Please select the drill bit rotation method according to actual needs.

Return Policy

If the threaded shank drill bit you receive doesn't work at all, we'll refund your money. Buyer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. We will issue a refund once the seller agrees to return the item and we receive it at the location. We must be contacted within 30 days of the date the item was delivered to the buyer in order for a return to be processed.
