Segment Hogger

Segment hogger The shredder unit and cutter head with carbide heads (HM) are designed for the professional processing of solid wood, glulam and other wooden materials. Planers do not require assistance in the process of formatting solid wood, they work together with scribing saw blades during processing of wooden materials.

Made of the highest quality steel, made with special heat treatment in vacuum heaters and appropriately selected according to the type of work, parameters and conditions during processing to guarantee the proper working of the tool, both in standard and extreme conditions. Application

On interchangeable segmented shredders for shredding excess material, for tear-free sizing along and across the grain. Only in combination with scribing saw blades for reverse feed machining. Define trims in front of finger cutouts to adjust finger fit.

All types of solid wood, MDF, HDF, HPL, CPL or particle board etc., uncoated, veneer, plastic and paper coated.

Technical Information

Steel tool body with HW circular saw blade and segmented cutting elements. Cut the six gravel segments in staggered ways. Installed on flange sleeve. Can be extended for greater bucket width. Single-sided helical tooth shape improves cut quality and reduces tearing.
