Integral blade: The blade body and cutting edge are made in one piece, which makes it very strong and precise.

FAQ  

Q: Can this blade cut thin veneer panels (less than 0.3 mm thick) without hurting the veneer?

A: Okay. You can pre-cut the veneer with a fine-toothed pre-cutter so it doesn't tear. The main cutter cuts smoothly, which stops the veneer from coming off or getting damaged. 

Q: How long can the blade run continuously without shortening its life?

A: It can run continuously for 8 to 10 hours under typical conditions (with the right lubrication, stable speed, and the right material). Every four hours, it is best to stop the machine for 15 to 20 minutes to let the blade head and blades cool down.

Q: Is it possible to sharpen TCT hard alloy blades for rabbeting and profile cutterhead again?

A: How many times can they be sharpened at the most? You can sharpen it again, up to two or three times. A separate grinder is needed to adjust the angle and thickness of the cutting edge on the grinding edge. After grinding, the cutting performance can still be kept the same.

Q: Do you need to buy more adapters to fit the cutting head to spindles with different holes?

A: You have to look at the difference in aperture to see if it can be adapted. If the apertures are the same size, like 25.4mm and 1 inch, they can be adapted straight. If the apertures are different sizes, like 20mm to 30mm, you need a special adapter sleeve that matches the spindle's accuracy.

Q: Will the blade get stuck while cutting solid wood with a lot of resin in it, like pine or fir?

A: Not usually. An anti-stick coating is put on the surface of the TCT blade to make it less likely to stick to resin. If there is residue, you can clean the blade with a special cleaning chemical on a regular basis to keep it from compromising the cutting action.

Q: What should you do to make sure the blade is safe to use again when it hasn't been used in a while?

A: You need to check if the blade is loose, if the cutting edge is rusted or broken, if the blade body is bent, and if the space between the pre-cutting blade and the main blade is right. Check that it is correct, then run it without any load for 3 to 5 minutes before you start cutting. 

Q:  Can you get the combination processing of mortise and tenon grooves and uneven lines (like wavy patterns) by changing the blade?

A: By changing the blade to the right shape and changing the size of the mortise and tenon groove with the gasket, you can make the mortise and tenon groove with wavy and diamond patterns in one go.

Q: What could be the reason for the blade making too much noise when it is working?

A: There are three main problems: first, the blade installation isn't strong enough, which makes it loose; second, the blade's dynamic balance is off and needs to be recalibrated; and third, the cutting speed doesn't match the sheet material, so the rotational speed needs to be changed.

Q: Do blade heads constructed of different materials (aluminium alloy/alloy steel) last for varying amounts of time?

A: There are some differences. The blades made of alloy steel are more robust, wear-resistant, and heat-resistant. They last 15% to 20% longer than blades made of aluminium alloy. But aluminium alloy blades are lighter and easier to put together and change, and you may choose them according to how strong they are.
