The 3-blade is designed for high-speed nesting operations and can cut MDF, particleboard, composites, cementitious fiberboard, phenolic resin, fire-resistant MDF and many other highly abrasive composite materials. 3-flute PCD drills have PCD entry points (1- and 2-flute drills have carbide entry points) and can be sharpened multiple times depending on wear patterns as the tool becomes dull.

PCD bottom cleaning bits are suitable for wide and very shallow cuts that require an excellent finish. Use it to clean previously cut wainscoting and grooves, or for surface cuts. The upshear configuration improves chip removal, while the tip orientation creates a smooth surface. Ideal for cleaning wainscoting and cutting wide square grooves. Leaving a smooth and clean finished surface. Also ideal for milling round, square or flat stock on a conventional decorative mill.
